A longtime staple of the PGA TOUR’s schedule, PGA National Resort has made some significant investments into the property over the past few years improving the golf product and the lodging to give you one of the best experiences in South Florida.

As the home of the King Arnold Palmer for many of his years, Bay Hill is a great test of golf and requires you to have every club in your bag working to go low here. You can only play here if you are staying at the Lodge onsite, and during your stay if you have time try to sneak in a round on the Charger nine-holer that is a ton of fun for a bonus round.

Puerto Rico Open: Grand Reserve Golf Club, Rio Grande, Puerto Rico
Designed by Tom Kite, the Grand Reserve Golf Club overlooks the El Yunque U.S. National Forest and has 36 holes that border the ocean for you to enjoy. Combine a couple of rounds with a stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico, and it could be just what the doctor ordered.

THE PLAYERS Championship: TPC Sawgrass, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida
As the home of the PGA TOUR, TPC Sawgrass provides one of the best Pete (and Alice) Dye designed golf course experiences that you’ll find anywhere in the world. THE PLAYERS Stadium Course, home to the infamous island 17th hole, is so much fun to play as every hole leaves a lasting impression. Combine that with a round on the Dye’s Valley Course, and it makes for a great golf vacation. As a pro tip, we suggest including a stay at the nearby Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa as that provides the most value for your trip as you can find here.

Innisbrook Resort is home to 63 holes of golf with the Copperhead Course being the star of the show. It is annually one of the toughest tests on the PGA TOUR, and be sure to check out their golf packages here as you can get a lot of bang for your buck on a golf vacation to Innisbrook.

A new “muni” has entered the chat as the Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas that allows out of state golfers access without a stay and play if you can find a tee time. ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic: Dunes Golf and Beach Club, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
It’s wonderful to see the PGA TOUR bringing an event to Myrtle Beach, as this area has long been home to so many memorable golf vacations for golfers for generations. The Dunes Golf and Beach Club is a private golf club, but they do allow select guest tee times available during the week for vacationing golfers. The Open Championship: Royal Birkdale Golf Club, Southport, England
Not only do we golfers get to play where the pros play, but we also can play the equivalent of the venue of the Super Bowl or the NBA Championship from time to time! Royal Birkdale is the 2026 home of the Open rota, and luckily for you impossible to forget trips to venues like this in England, Ireland, and Scotland are available to all.
