A golden opportunity at Turtle Point

The par-72 layout was renovated by Jack Nicklaus in nine months, reopening in 2016 to incredible reviews from players and architects alike. Bunkers were rebuilt, tee boxes laser-leveled and irrigation was reestablished throughout the facility. For many, the course is less about brawn and more about brains, meaning that you need to play to spots instead of trying to overpower the 6,911-yard tournament-ready course. Complete with a pro shop and a post-round relaxation spot, Tomasso, the Golden Bear has cooked up something special here.

What Turtle Point has to offer

Did you forget to pack everything for your trip to Turtle Point? The Pro Shop has you covered, taking care of all your pre-round needs. And after a few hours on the challenging track, the course invites you to put up your feet at Tomasso, an Italian gathering place, that allows you to re-live your round with your buddies.

Jack Nicklaus and Turtle Point: A match made just for you.

When you step onto the tee of a Jack Nicklaus designed golf course, you know you are not going to be able to sleep on any holes as he is going to challenge your mental fortitude just as much as your skill throughout the round.  Turtle Point received a renovation in 2016 that included rebuilding all of the bunkers and regressing with Paspalum which has helped keep this course picture perfect year round as this particular grass can stand up to the conditions that being so close to the ocean provides the golfer.  This was no small task, but it just goes to show you how much the ownership team is willing to invest to make this bucket list destination a memorable trip from start to finish.
