The PGA TOUR Champions descends upon Florida’s First Coast

Timuquana Country Club

Timuquana Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida is set to host the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS PGA TOUR Champions event September 29 through October 5, 2025.

This marks the last year the tournament will be played in Jacksonville, as starting in 2026 it moves to the Ocean Course at Hammock Beach in Palm Coast, a great stay-and-play option for all golfers.

While we are all looking forward to watching some great golf during the tournament, it’s without a doubt that charity is the central mission of this event.

Proceeds from the tournament support the Jim & Tabitha Furyk Foundation, and that money will be distributed amongst several local charities including health, education, family support, and community services organizations.

While watching the event, you’ll quickly see why Northeast Florida is such a hot bed for great golf. One of the biggest reasons golf fans will want to make the trip to Northeast Florida is the sheer variety of world-class golf in the area.

In addition to catching the FURYK & FRIENDS action if you want to base your trip around viewing this event, you can also explore other iconic venues such as the collection of golf courses available in Amelia Island including the Omni Amelia Island Resort and Spa, World Golf Village’s two excellent layouts, and the famed THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass and the Dye’s Valley Course.

With exceptional golf at a variety of price points, Florida’s First Coast always delivers, and you’ll be glad you made this home for your next golf getaway.
