The team at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure is excited to announce that the resort has officially reopened after a swift and focused recovery from Hurricane Helene.
While the resort did experience some storm-related damage, the hardworking team has been busy restoring operations, and they are happy to report that most of their facilities are now fully operational and ready to welcome guests back.
Please be aware that clean-up efforts are still underway in nearby areas, including Chimney Rock Village, the south end of Lake Lure, and Lake Lure itself. Their team is grateful for the incredible efforts of our neighbors in their recovery, and we encourage visitors to be mindful as they travel through these areas.

We’re also now welcoming group event inquiries for weddings, reunions, corporate retreats, and more. Spring Golf reservations are open with prime dates still available — the perfect opportunity to enjoy our championship courses at their best.
Included in these efforts are a new stay and play package that starts at $367 per person for a 2 night stay with 2 rounds of golf (some exclusions apply). Both the Apple Valley and Bald Mountain courses sustained minor storm impacts — like a few downed trees and light flooding—but the dedicated grounds crew has everything back in shape and the conditions have been restored to the same high level they were at prior to the storm.
