As the United States basks in the glory of its 250th birthday celebration, it really makes you pause for a moment to think of how many people have given their blood, sweat, and tears to get us to where we are today. 

At the heart of that sacrifice and commitment to freedom are the brave men and women of our armed services who have risked their lives to give us all a better life, and we are so proud to share the story of how the team at World Golf Village has integrated the PGA HOPE program to reward these valiant soldiers.

PGA HOPE, which stands for Helping Our Patriots Everywhere, is a veteran-focused golf program designed to introduce and teach the game of golf to veterans in a welcoming, supportive environment.  World Golf Village became involved with PGA HOPE in 2023 because veteran support is an important part of the fabric of their values.  Residing in  Northeast Florida and the Jacksonville area which is home to a large veteran and active-duty military community, it was especially important for World Golf Village to give back to those who have served and continue to serve.

Through PGA HOPE, their team provides golf instruction, on-course experiences, and a welcoming environment where veterans can learn, connect, and enjoy our wonderful game.  By the end of 2025, World Golf Village had served 161 veterans through the PGA HOPE program and has held over 48 total PGA HOPE classes.  That alone would be enough to celebrate, and their team has taken that success even further by fielding a team that won their section for the 2025 PGA HOPE Cup.  In addition to that, Club Director Reagan Davis was honored with the 2025 Patriot Award by the Northern Chapter of the North Florida PGA.
