The Boulders
There’s nothing quite like desert golf.  If you’ve never had the chance to experience golf in Arizona, then we suggest you get it on your list and when it comes to the authentic Arizona golf experience it’s tough to beat The Boulders. Aptly named, this course features some massive rock structures alongside the desert terrain and mountainous backdrop to give you that authentic Arizona golf experience, and you and your group can experience incredible rates here during the summer if you all don’t mind a little bit of heat. Try to skew to early or late day tee times to keep the temps down a bit, and you’ll get a top-notch experience for a fraction of the price of winter/spring rates. 10 golf courses…TEN! That’s such a difference maker for the amazing BOYNE Golf properties in Northern Michigan and it gives their team a lot of flexibility in still being able to book groups for this summer versus other properties. While we love the value provided during offseason times in Florida and Arizona as we’ve listed above, BOYNE can provide you with great rates during their peak summer season and offer you a perfect location to escape the summer heat especially if you live in the sunbelt of the United States.
BOYNE Golf offers three main hubs that are all about 20 minutes apart at The Highlands, Boyne Mountain, and the Inn at Bay Harbor and you have access to all the courses regardless of which resort you decide to stay at during your visit. We suggest splurging at least one day for a round at Bay Harbor which features 3 9-hole layouts as the views of Lake Michigan are simply spectacular, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the courses in the portfolio here.
