Rosen Shingle Creek – Orlando, FL

Orlando is a market that is a favorite for traveling golfers, and we often get asked where you can find the most value in this area.  While we are partial to multiple locations in this market, when you stack them up dollar for dollar when it comes to value, Rosen Shingle Creek has got to be at or near the top of that list.  That vision for value always came from the top from the recently departed Harris Rosen, and he has instilled a culture of warm service and providing a great experience that is felt from the moment you come through the front door.  

Conveniently located just off International Drive just a stone’s throw away from Universal Studios and a short drive from Disney World, you are also conveniently centrally located to many of the areas other great golf courses if you decide to play a few more rounds in the area.  Onsite though, Shingle Creek Golf Club provides an Arnold Palmer designed gem that is always in great condition and provides one of the fairer risk-reward layouts in Central Florida.  We’ve always loved how the feedback here from higher handicap golfers is that they felt they had ample room to work around hazards here, and better players point out the riskier options of how they either pulled off a great shot or were penalized for trying to take on too much.  Either way, you’ll love the layout and the resort has a great pool and excellent dining.  We especially recommend A Land Remembered, a phenomenal steakhouse that is one of our favorite spots in the area.
