While the rates are always pretty great here for the level of golf that you receive topping out at $250 for resort guests in peak season of May-September for the Gamble Sands and Scarecrow courses, you can even get a little more value if you visit here in the shoulder season of April and October when the golf rates drop down to $200 a round for resort guests and the room rate drops $100 per night in those windows in 2026.
With all three courses onsite designed by the legendary David McLay Kidd, Gamble Sands delivers a bucket list experience at an exceptional value all year long. Â

That is exactly what happened when our team visited Ocean City, Maryland last year as we were blown away by how good the golf is, especially for the price point, in this Mid-Atlantic coastal sanctuary.
With 11 golf courses to choose from in the area, there are a myriad of price points, and you’ll be amazed at how good the coastal golf is here across the board. Â
Also, Ocean City offers a variety of lodging options for you to enjoy so you can set up your lodging next to the ocean and tee it up in the morning and be under an umbrella with a beverage in your hand by the afternoon. What more could you want?!

Golf PEI – Various Cities, Prince Edward Island
As you can tell, we love value. And when it comes to arguably the most value for the dollar for golf in North America, you could make a valid case that nothing beats Prince Edward Island in Northeastern Canada. Â
This unbelievable island delivers some of the warmest hospitality you’ll find anywhere, and with more than 400 fairways available for golf you literally could not ask for more. Even better, many of these golf courses feature oceanside views and the best part is that with the current exchange rate, even the most expensive course on the island tops out at about $150. Â
It’s insane value, and the golf is fantastic. Â
You’ll have a ton of options to choose from when it comes to lodging, but we suggest basing out of Charlottetown so you can immerse yourself in the culture of the city. Â
The combination of delicious seafood, beautiful beaches, and top-notch golf all adds up to one of our favorite places to visit.
