Golf Packages We Love: February 2023

Crowbush Cove is in PEI

Here at GolfStayAndPlays.com, we are always on the lookout for great deals and experiences for our readers. To celebrate that, we’ve created a series that focuses on packages that we think excel in these two areas.  Here is a list of some upcoming deals that we have recently found that we thought you should consider for any future golf getaways.

Erin Hills

Pure.  It’s a description that you’ll hear time and time again after you talk to golfers who have visited Erin Hills. This Wisconsin gem located about 40 minutes away from Milwaukee is a favorite for many golfers in a state that has quickly become one of the premier destinations for great golf. For a full description of the facility, see our latest story here.

The experience at Erin Hills tends to be pretty straightforward with greens fees at an a la carte pricing based on the date of your round, but for those looking to stay and play at Erin Hills, there are a few windows that offer a discount for a stay with two rounds of golf.

For the windows of May 7- May 24, 2023, and October 9 – October 15, 2023, guests paying for a full round and staying overnight are eligible for a second round at a discounted rate of $160.  If you’d like to stay from May 25 – June 14, 2023, or October 2 – October 8, 2023, an overnight stay with a full rate round of golf will make you eligible for a discounted rate of $175 for your second round.

For a course of this magnitude, that’s a great deal and if you and your crew are considering a trip here and have some flexibility on your dates, you should consider taking a look at this window to save a few dollars. We hope you enjoy the savings, but we highly suggest you spend it in the pro shop as Erin Hills’ logo is among the best in golf.

Prince Edward Island

When it comes to oceanside golf value, it’s tough to beat all the amazing golf that Prince Edward Island has to offer the golfing public.  Located on the east coast of Canada across the Northumberland Strait from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island features more golf courses per capita than any other province in Canada.  The island is about 140 miles long and ranges anywhere from 2 to 40 miles wide, so as you can see for a place that isn’t too large there sure is a ton of great golf. The other amazing benefit to this size is that you are constantly surrounded by water giving you incredible ocean vistas on many of the courses.

From a package perspective, there are too many options to list here, but your best bet is to reach out to the experts at Golf Prince Edward Island and start the quote process.  With rounds maxing out at around $140 U.S. for some elite golf, you’ll quickly see why we consider Prince Edward Island to be one of the best value golf destinations in North America.
