Mission Inn Resort & Club: El Campeón Course
History at its finest

Initially designed by George O’Neil in 1917 and later enhanced by Charles E. Clarke in 1926, Mission Inn’s El Campeón has plenty of history, standing as one of the oldest courses in the southern United States. The course features rolling fairways and undulating greens, and you can find trouble if you aren’t careful off the tee. There are 85 feet of elevation changes on this traditional golf course, which is highlighted by the tough par-5 17th hole, which features a double dogleg. The course has consistently been ranked by golf publications, including No. 2 on the Golf Advisor’s Golfer’s Choice list in 2015.
