Nearly 100 years after it was designed by the esteemed Donald Ross, Mid Pines Golf Course is still very much a reflection of his impeccable design style. The course was restored by Kyle Franz in 2013, but very much through the eyes of Ross — with the restoration receiving numerous awards. The course fits into the natural landscape and has been a player-friendly course from the outset, intended to be a competitive track for the average golfer vs. the ultimate test for the professional. That being said, the course has hosted national tournaments, including the USGA Senior Women’s Amateur Championship.
