Inspired by his previous work at Gamble Sands, Quick Sands represents the first par-3 short course designed by David McLay Kidd, giving the property a unique mix of a championship 18-hole regulation course, a putting course and now a 13-hole par-3 course. Quick Sands is set on 12 acres, with the holes ranging from 70-135 yards. The course has flexibility in setup due to wide turf areas, making it a different challenge any time a golfer tees it up. You likely don’t even need a bag, needing your putter and a few short irons before setting out to play the course, with the winter months closed in Washington.
