BOYNE Golf: The Alpine
A view from the top

With a 1.2 mile drive from the golf shop to the top of Boyne Mountain and the first tees, it was one of the first courses in the United States specifically designed for carts in 1972, The Alpine is home to Michigan’s annual Tournament of Champions, The Alpine offers a true test test of any avid golfer that enjoys being challenged by a course at all turns. It’s easy to get lost in the mountain setting that include 360-degree views of Deer Lake as you play down from the top of the mountain, making the course equally visually stunning. The course rewards solid tee play and the greens are somewhat forgiving, allowing you to be a bit more aggressive off the tee. The Alpine stretches across more than 7,000 yards from the tips, including a 577-yard par-5 on No. 8 and a 562-yard par-5 on No. 18 that gives you a birdie opportunity to close out your round.
