Located in Bandon’s “banana belt,” Bandon Crossings was designed by Dan Hixson with the idea that the course was an alternative to the more pricey golf courses in the area. Owners Rex and Carla Smith bought the land in 2005 and the golf course was open in 2007. The course pays homage to the heathland golf courses of the UK, with it being a bit hillier than a normal links course.
