The Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club sits on 320 acres of land that was once part of the Ak-Chin Indian Community. In 2020, the community recovered its land when it purchased the golf course after Brian Curley and Fred Couples designed the private club. The course is player-friendly after its renovation, with it being referred to as a “bunny slope” due to its commitment to making the experience a pleasant one for all.
