The home of the free because of the brave.  It’s a fact that we can easily forget about sometimes as we make our way through life, but it is an important message that we need to remind ourselves of from time to time. 

The team at Florida’s First Coast of Golf in Northeast Florida has recognized this need to pay homage to those who have defended our great country, and they are working with more than 60 partners to provide discounts for active, retired, or veteran military members along with their families to showcase the region’s appreciation of the sacrifices that these heroes have made for our country.

This area includes offers in the following main hubs that can be found throughout Northeast Florida:

• Amelia Island
• Clay County
• Jacksonville and the Beaches
• St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra

Each region has a list of partners that have offered to provide discounts to those who have served, and a few offers that we thought were worth highlighting included:

• Amelia River Club Military Offer: Amelia River Club will provide a discounted rate for Active military members who will receive a 30% discount off the rack rate with proof of valid ID at check-in.
• Hammock Beach Resort Military Offer: Guests with a valid military ID will receive a 15% discount off any stay at Hammock Beach Resort.
• Golf Club at South Hampton: Active-duty military will receive a discounted golf fee of $40 plus tax anytime Monday through Thursday and after 11AM Friday through Sunday.  Guests must show proof of service at the time of their check-in.
• Sawgrass Marriott Military Discount: Active Military members and Veterans can save up to 25% off their stay with code XYD when you book.  These guests will also enjoy complimentary self-parking.   Guests must present a valid Military or First Responder ID at the time of check-in, and the discount is limited to 2 rooms per valid ID.
• Eagle Landing Golf Club Military Offer: When you provide proof of service at check-in, Eagle Landing Golf Club will provide military members with a rate of $51 Monday through Thursday, $59 on Friday, and $59 on Saturday and Sundays after 2 PM.  These rates do not include tax, and they are subject to change so please inquire before booking to confirm the rates.
