Best golf travel gear for 2026: Essential products for the traveling golfer

If there’s one thing that’s universally true about all of us die-hard golfers, it’s that we will all do just about anything to get a leg up on our competition.

The never-ending pursuit of playing better will always be at the heart of our golfing desires, and in 2026 technology continues to bring us exciting new innovations and products that can take your game and your looks to the next level.

Now that most of the major brands have launched their newest products, we’ve highlighted some of our favorite products and services that are worth taking a hard look at.

Cobra 3DP Irons

Arguably the coolest innovation in the iron category over the last couple of years is Cobra Golf’s 3DP (3D Printed) technology, and their 2026 lineup add ins the new 3DP MB (Muscle Back) and 3DP X irons to give golfers of all skill sets the ability to create the perfect set, or combo set, of their choice.  Cobra has figured out a way to bring 3D printing technology into your irons giving you the club profile of a players club all while receiving an incredible amount of forgiveness as even the Muscle Back series is being described as forgiving.  These are premium irons that are priced accordingly, but you should certainly give them a try as we think there’s a good chance that these clubs are exactly what your game has been missing.

FootJoy Premiere Series

There’s a lot of pressure when you’ve been at the top of the shoe game for as long as FootJoy has, and we are always blown away at how they do a seemingly flawless job at giving traditional golfers exactly what they want from a golf shoe while also creating new, more modern looking shoes for golfers looking for a bit more flair in their footwear selection.  For the traditionalists out there, there is no better shoe than the FootJoy Premiere Series.   Paying homage to the FootJoy Classics lineup that were a favorite of golfers for generations, the Premiere Series shoe features a modern take on a traditional shoe using the technology of today to bring you exceptional style and performance on the course.

L.A.B. Golf DF3i Putter

There’s no doubt that L.A.B. Golf has taken the greens by storm over the last couple of years, and for those of you who may not know, the name L.A.B. stands for Lie Angle Balance which is incorporated into the company’s entire putter portfolio to eliminate torque from your putting stroke making you a more consistent, better putter.  Now available in a more traditional look with their LINK putter series, the brand continues to grow but it’s the DF (Directed Force) series that put them on the map.  The latest offering from the DF lineup is the DF3i which now features a metal insert that gives golfers a firmer, faster feel off the face if you prefer it.  The technology implanted into these putters is incredible, so do yourself a favor and pick one up next time you are in the store as we have a sneaky feeling you may end up making a purchase.

ShipSticks

Every golfer knows the feeling—and not in a good way. You spend months planning the perfect trip, counting down the days, only to hand your clubs over at the airport and hope they make it in one piece. Then you land, head to baggage claim… and realize your sticks didn’t make it. Suddenly, that bucket-list round is happening with a set of rentals. Not exactly how you pictured it. That’s where ShipSticks comes in. Instead of rolling the dice at the airport, you can schedule a pickup right from your home and have your clubs waiting for you at the course when you arrive. No oversized baggage lines, no anxious layovers, no lingering at baggage claim wondering if your clubs took a different flight. It also frees up valuable trunk space, cuts down on travel-day chaos, and honestly just makes the whole trip feel smoother from the start. And it’s not just your clubs — ShipSticks can handle your luggage too, so you can travel lighter and focus on what actually matters: the golf.

TaylorMade Qi4D Driver

TaylorMade has been one of the best drivers in golf for quite some time now, and the latest addition to their lineup with the Qi4D family has been turning heads on the range over its first few months in the marketplace.  Famously played by Rory McIlroy as he dawned his second straight green jacket recently, this driver combines great looks and more speed to help you hit longer, straighter drives.

Bushnell Golf Tour Hybrid Rangefinder

When it comes to picking a rangefinder, one name has been synonymous with quality for decades now as Bushnell is the top choice of the game’s best players on an annual basis.  One of their latest innovations is the Tour Hybrid Rangefinder as this unit combines the best of both worlds with premium, slope-enhanced laser technology as well as slope-enhanced GPS technology to give you the adjusted yardages for the front, center, and back of the green.  This literally puts everything you’d want from a caddie into the palm of your hand, and now us weekend warriors can have all the data that the best players on Tour have to maximize our game at home and on the road.

PING i540 Irons

PING has long been at the forefront of iron technology as the brand was the first to highlight the benefits of custom fitting on a massive scale with their color-coded PING Eye 2 irons that have long been considered one of the greatest iron designs of all time.  Their latest offering for better players is the new i540 line that integrates a forged face for a great feel while also using strategically placed tungsten weighting to give you speed and distance.

Mitsubishi Diamana Series

We’re constantly asked what golfers can do to improve their game—and one of the most impactful changes we emphasize is getting properly fit for your shaft.

Today, that conversation goes beyond just launch and spin. It centers on three key pillars: impact location, start line, and player feel—driven by the right weight and flex. When those are dialed in, golfers find the center of the face more often, control their starting direction, and swing with more confidence.

Few lineups have delivered at this level as consistently as the Mitsubishi Golf Diamana series.  Available in WB, BB, and RB—modern evolutions of the iconic White, Blue, and Red Board profiles—each is engineered with specific weight and flex characteristics to match how a player delivers the club, leading to more consistent strikes and tighter dispersion.

Foresight Sports Sim in a Box

There is no such thing as too much golf in our lives.  Over the years, the dream of putting a simulator in your house may have seemed like a pipe dream for the ultra-rich as the cost was too much for most golfers, but all of that has changed as Foresight Sports has launched their Sim in a Box series that can fit most golfers budgets and can have you playing golf from the comfort of your home in no time.  With a small footprint needed to set up these simulators, the experience on these well-priced simulators is fantastic and we highly suggest adding on the Premium Course Bundle so you can enjoy some of the best courses in the game like Pebble Beach, Pinehurst No. 2, Harbour Town, and the Old Course at St. Andrews just to name a few.

Puma Boulder 2.0 LC Golf Crewneck

Ok, we know that Summer is approaching, but this sweater is just way too good not to give it some love on this list.  Available in 7 colorways, the Boulder 2.0 2.0 LC Golf Crewneck sweater has quickly become one of our favorite layering alternatives for both on and off the course.  Equally great styling on the course or out for dinner, this sweater is extremely comfortable to swing in, and the fit is as good as anything we’ve worn for quite some time.  It’s a great staple item and if you’re like us, you’ll end up purchasing it in multiple colors as we loved it that much.

Bombas Golf Socks

Bombas has one of our favorite background stories in the world of consumer products as they have built their entire identity around the idea of giving back.  When you buy a pair of socks from them, they donate a pair to those in need.  Those donations have added up to over 200 million items to date!  This in and of itself would be enough for us to love their brand, but equally as impressive is the quality of the socks that they sell.  I used to be somebody who bought socks by the econo-pack and never gave it a second thought until I finally started using Bombas socks.  Once I felt the difference, quite frankly I can never go back.  Their entire portfolio is great, and their Golf specific sock that provides enhanced durability, targeted arch compression, and a seamless toe for golfers specifically.  It also provides a thicker layer of protection on the top of the back side of the sock to protect your ankles from rubbing up against your golf shoes.  If you’ve ever had this happen you know it can be quite painful, especially on a golf trip where you have a lot of rounds lined up and may be walking more than usual.

While this golf specific sock is obviously amazing on the course, we have also used their All Sport Ankle Socks and Run Ankle Socks with a lot of success and comfort during rounds.  Give them a try and not only can you help your fellow man through their donation program, but you’ll also help yourself as you’ll quickly realize, like we did, how much better a premium sock can be for your game.

Titleist ProV1, ProV1x, and ProV1x Left Dash Golf Balls

The Titleist ProV1 and ProV1x have set the standard for some time now as the #1 ball in golf, and every year they tend to find a way to make this ball a little bit better.  Initially launching on the PGA Tour in October 2000, this ball immediately made a massive impact on the golf ball category and has been a consistently high performer for decades now.  One thing to note is that in 2017, the profiles of ProV1 and ProV1x flipped as the ProV1x has become the higher flight ball with more spin, and the ProV1 seems to be the best choice for most golfers.

Our favorite addition to this lineup in recent years is the ProV1X Left Dash balls, as they provide a higher ball flight profile than the ProV1 all while maintaining a lower spin rate and firmer feel than the ProV1x and the same high spin rates around the greens.

No matter what your ball flight looks like, Titleist has you covered with these three great products.

Golf Pride Grips

We typically like to call out a specific product when we do these lists, but grips are so intensely personal that we thought we’d highlight the #1 brand in the category as a whole with Golf Pride.  There’s a reason why they dominate tour counts on every major tour on a weekly basis, and they provide golfers with a plethora of choices when it comes to choosing the right grip for your game.  Personally, our team is huge fans of the MCC product lineup as the combination of feel in the lower hand and brushed cotton technology worked into the upper corded part of the grip performs extremely well in all sorts of conditions, especially in warmer climates where we tend to play a lot of golf.  While these aren’t new for 2026, regripping is one of those critical elements that we all seem to overlook from time to time, so we figured a reminder may help you save some strokes this season.

FootJoy StaSof Glove

When you speak to the team at FootJoy about gloves, you would be blown away at how much time and energy they put into creating the #1 glove in golf.  The FootJoy StaSof Glove has been a staple in their portfolio for a long time, and year after year they continue to deliver a glove that provides a soft feel and a perfect fit so you can play your best golf.  They are #1 for a reason, so do yourself a favor and stock up today.  Bonus pro tip: if you don’t have a pair of FootJoy’s RainGrip gloves in your bag in case wet weather strikes, then we highly suggest you do so as they are essentially a cheat code for playing in rainy conditions.
