The Old White course, the crown jewel of The Greenbrier portfolio, was designed in 1914 by the legendary Charles Blair Macdonald. Macdonald, known as the father of American golf course architecture, incorporated the influence of some of the famous designs from Europe into a crafted masterpiece in White Sulpher Springs, West Virginia alongside the one and only Seth Raynor. The course hosted A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier from 2010 through 2019 on the PGA Tour, and it is a must play for any serious golfer.
