Don’t let the name Snow Mountain fool you — this course has some heat and it will come and get you at 7,164 yards from the tips. Pete Dye focused a lot of his attention on this course’s par-3s, which many call the best of the three Paiute courses in Las Vegas. This was the original course on property, featuring rye grass fairways, seven holes with water, railroad-tie bunkers, a few dogleg finishing holes and a highly progressive layout. The par-3s all come in under 200 yards, the only track of the three at Paiute where that is the case. The par-72 does have a 611-yard par-5 on the back nine which will require some muscle.
