The Atlantic Dunes are a complete reconstruction of Sea Pines’ historic Ocean Course, taken on by long-time PGA star Davis Love III, who is making a name for himself in golf course design. The course keeps to its roots with the Atlantic Ocean a constant distraction, while you will come across coquina shells and seaside grass all over the course. Not only does the course embellish the beachfront, but it also embraces the native pines and oaks that line multiple fairways. Love and his design team rebuilt holes in order to modernize current shot values, while also framing scenic corridors.
