The Black Knight has his stamp all over this layout, as Gary Player and his team redesigned the course, reopening in October 2017. Embellishing the marsh vistas and a playability aspect that attracts all types of golfers, the course has been met with rave reviews across the board. The course features both drivable par-4s, as well as those that will take some muscle, while the par-5s do reward aggressive behavior. The par-3s are known as the most difficult, pushing golfers to pay attention to club selection. The course was the location of the filming of the Legend of Bagger Vance, starring Will Smith, among others.
