Biloxi, Mississippi
We love a good golf and gambling getaway as much as anyone, and when it comes to finding great value for a little action on the course and on the tables, we highly recommend Biloxi, Mississippi. While this area is bustling with resort and golfing options, one we know that you will love from personal experience is the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino as well as their golf course Fallen Oak. This Tom Fazio-designed layout is gorgeous, and when you combine the epic golf with resort offers like you’ll find here, it’s the perfect combination for a great golf getaway at an even better price.
Fallen Oak
Orlando, Florida
Orlando has seen a resurgence on the golf travel scene as of late, and as the market continues to grow it really highlights the courses that drive an incredible amount of value as the price disparity in the marketplace is really starting to grow. One facility that continues to deliver value in spades is the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel and Golf Club. Located conveniently near the International Drive corridor (I Drive as it is often referred to), this 18-hole Arnold Palmer-designed championship layout is incredibly fun and has a wonderful mix of gettable par-4s and par-5s alongside more challenging holes giving you plenty of chances to help birdies balance out bogeys. The Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel is also incredibly well priced in the area and depending on what time of the year you book, you can find some massive value at this marquee location as you’ll see here.
Another area favorite when it comes to value is Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. This facility has been investing into their golf product which has included renovating both championship layouts over the last couple of years. They’ve also updated all their lodging, and they’ve added The Den at their massive driving range facility which provides you with a TopTracer range alongside food and drink to create a great post-round activity.
And if you want a “splurge” day on your value focused golf trip, other area courses like Grand Cypress Golf at Evermore Resort has 36 wonderful holes of golf is always a great option as well as the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club. All are short drives away from each other, and you can mix and match to fit your budget as needed.

Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
This one may be a bit of a head scratcher for most of you as you likely associate Hilton Head with Harbour Town Golf Links which comes at a premium price that is certainly worth it. But Hilton Head features a multitude of great golfing options, and what we love about this area is that depending on what level of spend you are looking for, there is value at virtually every price point.
If you’re looking for bucket list value, The Sea Pines Resort offers some great package options such as their Lighthouse Golf Package for groups of 16 or more that includes a 4-day, 3-night package with rounds at all 3 of their courses including Harbour Town for under $2,000 per golfer most of the year (excludes summer and blackout dates).
Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort is always providing incredible deals for golfers year-round as you’ll see here. Their 3 championship layouts highlighted by their Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront Course are all area favorites and can be enjoyed at a slightly lower price point than The Sea Pines Resort packages.
While The Sea Pines Resort and the Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort may be the more recognizable golf resort names in Hilton Head, it’s the Heritage Golf Group that owns the most golf courses on the island including Port Royal, Oyster Reef, Shipyard, and Palmetto Hall. Visitors can take advantage of their multi-day golf packages found here and combine it with the accommodations of your choice to create an incredible amount of value all while enjoying some incredible golf.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Last but certainly not least, it’s hard to talk about value in the game of golf without mentioning the mecca of golf Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Depending on where you make the line of demarcation of where this area starts and stops, there are roughly between 80 to 100 golf courses that comprise this market and just as you’d guess, the competition breeds great value options.
What we love about this is that even the more elite golf courses in the market here usually come in at a great rate. Two we know that you will love are Barefoot Resort & Golf and True Blue & Caledonia. Barefoot is home to 72 holes of championship golf with designs from Pete Dye, Greg Norman, Davis Love III, and Tom Fazio. It’s a great variety of golf, and they recently added some of their new Dye Club Cottages that we highly recommend. They offer a wide variety of great package options, and the best way to see what kind of value you and your crew can find, you should click here to get a quick quote to start the booking process.
True Blue Golf Club and Caledonia Golf and Fish Club are two of the few iconic Mike Strantz-designed golf courses in the world, and these highly-rated area beauties are often a great array of shots for any golfer to enjoy. Their team also owns their own packaging company called Caledonia Golf Vacations which is a great place to start if you are interested in booking a great golf vacation at a fair price.
