But after further visits, we also highly recommend The Lodge at Sea Island as an option as it provides a more boutique experience with 43 guest rooms alongside the nearby golf 2- to 4-bedroom cottages creating a more secluded experience for your group. As an example of what makes The Lodge so special, the available butler service will blow you away by enhancing your stay with incredible details such as having a rose pedal drawn bath alongside milk and warm cookies waiting for you in your room after dinner. Talk about service!
Sea Island is also known for their Women’s Golf Getaway Weekends which are three-day ladies golf schools for golfers of all skill levels. This is a great way to expand your golf trips to get more ladies involved who have been looking to get into the game a little bit more but feel like they could use a little more help on their game. The world class Golf Performance Center has all the bells and whistles alongside an exceptional teaching staff to create the perfect environment for all the ladies in your group to feel comfortable.

Kiawah Island Golf Resort — Kiawah Island, South Carolina
The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island is notoriously demanding, but playing the right set of tees here can make this beast a beauty and make for one of the most picturesque golf courses you will ever play. It is one of five outstanding 18-hole layouts at this Lowcountry paradise, and while The Ocean Course will test every aspect of your game, the other four layouts of Osprey Point, Cougar Point, Turtle Point, and Oak Point will provide much more friendly and playable routings for your group. The Sanctuary Hotel is known for being a picture of Southern graciousness, with its twin curving staircases and massive picture windows that greet you upon arrival here, lives up to its name.
